WHO WE ARE

Our objective is to establish a studio that fosters a never-quit work ethic within a lively community at Scrapyard. Our philosophy is straightforward- fitness is not a choice, but a necessity, and we aim to make it a lifestyle for all. The Scrapyard studio is conveniently situated within a 10-minute bus ride from Thompson Rivers University, making it easily accessible to students and locals alike. At Scrapyard, we aspire to inspire individuals to become the best versions of themselves, by empowering themselves and those around them. We firmly believe that a strong community is the foundation for achieving one's fitness goals, and our studio is designed to cultivate an environment that encourages individuals to support, motivate, and push each other towards greatness. We are committed to providing top-notch workouts that not only challenge the body but also enrich the soul, creating a positive impact that extends beyond the studio walls.

The workout

At SCRAPYARD, we box to the beat! Heavy hits & heavy tunes, we keep lights low and the music louder. Our 50 minute classes are a full body workout that will optimize your time. The workout is cardio-based with bodyweight strength training to sculpt and tone muscles. Boxing is known for being one of the top calorie-shredding fitness activities in which you can burn upwards of 800 calories per hour. Our instructors will keep you going every beat of the way so you can get the very most out of your class. You will not only be drenched in sweat when you’re done, but you’ll also feel like a total badass!

WHY BOXING?

Boxing has a very high caloric burn. It is an extremely intense workout and leads to impeccable core strength while toning your shoulders, arms, core.
