First timer

 

BEFORE CLASS

To book your spot at Scrapyard, simply visit our Schedule page or use the MindBody app. Before heading to class, we recommend double-checking online to confirm that you are not on the waitlist and are, in fact, registered for the class. We encourage you to wear whatever you are comfortable in! But, be prepared to get sweaty… make sure to bring running shoes and H2O to stay hydrated during your badass workout.

 

CHECK IN

For your first class at Scrapyard, we kindly request that you arrive at least 15 minutes early. This will give you ample time to check in for the class and reserve your heavy bag. Our team will also be available to assist you with wrapping your hands properly and answer any questions you may have. Please note that for hygiene purposes, you must have your own hand wraps, which are available as a one-time purchase in the studio. Hand wraps are mandatory for every class. We’ll provide you with boxing gloves, but feel free to bring your own if you prefer. Once you have your hands wrapped and gloves on, you're ready to scrap.

 

TIME TO FIGHT

The doors to the studio will open 5 minutes before class. This will give you time to find your numbered bag and for your instructor to go over the 6 core punches and defensive moves before class begins.

 

AFTER CLASS

Once class is over, please return your gloves by putting them in the bins outside the studio room. Don't forget to hold onto your wraps as you will need these next time! If you have any question at all, please feel free to ask your instructors or our front desk staff will be happy to help!
